AD INFINITUM

 

Ahead of the launch of their new WW1 supernatural horror game, we worked with Nacon to define the entire marketing strategy. We were inspired by real stories of the war, as well as the surrealist and abstract art movements that flourished as a result.

We knew we needed to take a risk to help the game punch above its weight up against heavyweight horror competition from new games in the Amnesia, Resident Evil and Alan Wake franchises. So we captured the feeling of a lucid dream, subverting viewers’ expectations at every point with disruptive imagery and sound design.

Teaser

This was designed as an immersive experience that envelopes a viewer. Loops, flashes and layers of surrealist imagery tease a game where the lines between dreams and reality are blurred.
